Jesse’s football career started off at Sprayberry High School In Marietta, ultimately getting into the Sprayberry High Hall of Fame. After graduating from Sprayberry, Jesse signed on to play football for the University of West Georgia, where to this day, he still remains as the all-time leader for tight ends in receptions and yards (88 and 1325 respectively). It is also worth noting that during his college career, Jesse also averaged over fifteen yards per catch with seven touchdowns. After graduating from college, Jesse pursued other career opportunities, but has remained a fixture in youth football, coaching for championship teams for Kell Youth Football (6th grade in 2006), Pope Youth Football (4th grade in 2018), and the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA).
